FATHER NATHAN MAMO, S.T.L.

Pastor

Fr. Nathan Mamo was ordained in 1978 for the Diocese of Honolulu, Hawaii, where he served for 21 years in various parishes, including as Rector at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Peace in downtown Honolulu. He studied for the priesthood at St. Patrick Seminary in Menlo Park, CA. He earned a Licentiate in Sacred Theology (STL) in New Testament Studies at the Jesuit School of Theology at Berkeley (JSTB) in 1994. His research was in St. Paul’s idea of decision-making in the Corinthian Church. He departed Hawaii in 1998 and served at three parishes in the Diocese of San Jose before moving to the Diocese of Reno in 2009. He and Sophie have been together since 2010.

THERESE GAIKOWSKI

PARISH ADMINISTRATOR

My family moved from the East Bay Area of California to Sparks, Nevada in 2001. My background is in Human Resources, but I have been working in office management for 21 years. I managed a veterinary clinic in Sparks for 7 years and I have been employed in the Diocese of Reno since 2009. I joined the staff of Our Lady of Wisdom in September 2014. When I am not at work I enjoy spending time with my family camping, watching movies, baking, and scrapbooking family memories.
