Newman Center

“The love of our private friends is the only preparatory exercise for the love of all men.”
– John Henry Newman

Our Newman Center is dedicated to: Faith, family, friendship, compassion, and most of all love of God and Neighbor. Comprised mostly of current students, our Newman Center is a place where students encounter Christ and each other. It provides evangelization and discipleship formation to Catholic college students and gives them a community of faith. Each week we come together in prayer to celebrate the Eucharist as a community of believers, welcoming those who search and are searching for ways to meet Jesus and be transformed by his love.

Each year our Newman Center holds retreats, gatherings, barbecues, game nights, and countless other activities. We provide opportunities for community outreach and offer ways to help others while having fun with friends. Even if you enter our doors as a stranger to all, know that you’ll be welcomed and will become part of a family that will last you a lifetime.

To see what events will be taking place this semester, check out the “Newman Events Calendar” under the “Newman” tab. Our Newman Center will be open on the first week of school to welcome back all those returning for the year and offer a greeting to those new to our community. In the meantime, feel free to send a request to join our group on Facebook. We hope to see you at church or around campus. Have a great year!
