Become Catholic

What is OCIA?
The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults, also known as OCIA, is the start of a journey. More specifically, it’s a process for people to become full members of the Catholic Church. Whether you were baptized but never confirmed or whether you’re someone who has never been baptized but feels a calling to the Church, this journey is a period of study, reflection, and personal growth.
The period of OCIA begins in the fall and continues until the Easter Vigil. There’s one meeting a week in the evenings, designed to accommodate the time constraints of students and professionals alike. Whether you’re a “cradle Catholic” that’s returning to the Church or someone who’s just curious about what Catholicism is really about, we invite you to come start this journey with us.
If you are interested, now is the time to sign up or ask us for more information. We’re also looking for sponsors to guide and walk alongside those embarking on this journey of faith. If you are interested in either enrolling in OCIA classes or becoming a sponsor, please select the appropriate option from the “OCIA” tab above and fill out the form.
